If you have Windows 10 Professional, which you should if you care to have the full advantage of the I7 7th generation processor, you can run the Windows 11 development environment in Hyper V gratuitously and capture most of the missing features in this manner since it emulates a processor that they support. In the case of the I7, 7th generation they have agreed to support it for another 5 years under Windows 10 and have not done added it to Windows 11. They need to individually code, test, support, for each proccessor that they admit to an operating system. For example, many Fujitsu processors or IBM's processors and other processors are far more powerful than any, but Microsoft is the largest company in the world and their main product is the Windows Operating System. It's not about the power of the processor.
